Sunday Chat – Wildlife and Car Show from From My Carolina Home

Our driveway has become a feast for the critters, as ripening acorns are falling everywhere. The deer and turkeys love to come by and graze on the bounty. This gal came by on a rainy day, and I got her photo through the window.

A couple of days later, this pair came to graze. The little one still has its spots, but they are fading as it gets older.

Then a surprise. I was talking on the phone when this guy (gal?) came running from the woods onto the circle. It is a coyote. It looks so thin!

Autumn In the Mountains Car Show from From My Carolina Home

Saturday was our British Car Club’s annual show, Autumn In The Mountains. There were close to 250 cars on the show field! British and other European cars were shown on a beautiful day with the temperature in the mid-70s (around 23ºC) and partly cloudy skies. My Sweet Babboo was there early working to park the cars, and I arrived a bit later in the morning to see the show. The show was spread out over a huge field, so we did a lot of walking.
